Tofu Afritada for the vegetarians
I am sharing this recipe to those who dont like to eat meat and dislike the greens, too. My sister cooked this when her friend shared this with her and she really appreciated it and decided to try cooking it herself.
Ingredients:
tofu - buy the packed ones in the grocery stores. You are assured that they are clean and fresh.
garlic - if you are fond of them then use more.
onions - again, the amount would depend on your preference
tomato sauce, fresh tomatoes and cooking oil.
Preparation:
1. Boil the tofu first so that it remains soft even after frying it.
2. Slice the onions and tomatoes to desired size.
3. Crush garlic
4. Slicing the tofu similar to the one above for easier frying, and then fry them.
5. Make the sauce by sauteeing garlic, onion and tomato, pour in tomato sauce, add salt and pepper. Add the fried tofu and Voila! healthy food for you.
