Eat Bulaga's Valerie Weigmann is the Philippine Representative to MIss World 2014

The first time I saw Valerie Weigmann, she was tagging along with Jose Manalo and Paolo Ballesteros during Eat Bulaga's "Juan for All, and All for Juan" segment.  And she struck me as a "cool and down-to-earth person." with a knack for comedy because she had difficulty in delivering some jokes which ultimately made the joke more hilarious.   She is cool because she doesn't mind poking fun at herself and being laughed at at her funny deliveries.  In fact, she is what you see.

Now, I heard that she bagged the crown to represent the Philippines in the next Ms. World Pageant, kind of the successor of Megan Young, who is doing a great job representing the Philippines and in doing the Ms. World rounds.   Physically,  Valerie has got what it takes to compete with the fairest of candidates who will be coming from different countries.  She is tall and fit, thanks to her regular gym visits.  And most of all, she has such a very relaxed composure.  For some reason, I could not sense any tension or nerves when I look at her, or she is doing a damn good job in hiding them.  It's great to see someone excuding confidence in one's self.

I believe that Valerie is the most qualified contender who can uphold the integrity and the objectives of a Ms. World because she has a genuine desire to help the marginalized and in advocating for each one of us to support a noble cause.  In spite of her success as a model, endorser, entrepreneur,  Valerie continues to support her personal advocacy which is to empower our indigenous brothers and sisters in Tarlac."  She believes that it is in sharing and giving that one becomes really beautiful.

The Ms. World Pageant was held last October 12 at the SM Moa arena and it was hosted by Mikael Daez, Janine Guttierez, Tim Yap and Gwendoline Ruais.    Let's all support Val as she competes in London  for the Ms. World 2014 crown and let's hope she will be the successor to our very own Megan Young.
