Mar Roxas at Leni Robredo: Ang Dalawang Pangalan ng Kaunlaran:

May 9 is another historical day as the nation will elect another president who will lead the country for the next 6 years.  As a voter, ask yourself what do you want your leader to do for the country and for the people.  What kind of leader do you want?   What projects or programs do you want him to focus on?   Will he be the kind of leader that will inspire the people to have initiative in helping themselves by being a good example himself?  Is he a leader that you can be proud of when he represents the country at international conventions or conferences?   Is he a leader that is approachable?   And lastly, does he have integrity and good character.

  

As a voter, I want my president to be compassionate but strict at the same time.  I prefer a president who stands by his word and for each principle that he believes in.   I want a president who plans well for the general well-being of the people, the economy and all sectors of society.    A president who has a solid background on good governance and public administration, backed by a genuine knowledge on finance and economics….and that is no other than Mar Roxas.

Some may overlook the role of the vice-president, but it is a big-no-no as many a time in history, the vice-president succeeds in the middle of the term of the president because of many unforeseen reasons, therefore it is an equally important position and one that should be taken seriously.   The vice-president should share the same goals and ideals of the president in order to have consistency in purpose and continuity.  Leni Robredo is the most fitting candidate to be vice-president being that she has integrity and of good moral character, just the same with that of Mar Roxas.  Leni Robredo has always stood up for what is right.  Her local constituents have shown support for her for many a number of times because they know where her mind and heart are….on May 9, my vote will only go to this tandem…
