Hello Caitlyn Jenner, Goodbye Bruce

Vanity Fair ushered the arrival of Caitlyn Jenner and people have mixed emotions about it.  Some people still could not believe that someone so popular and world-famous was willing to give up fame to give way to his, now, her, happiness.  Caitlyn Jenner is the dream-come-true of Bruce Jenner, a facially-transformed male, therefore he is Bruce Jenner no more.   Although Caitlyn often makes slips like using he, instead of she, in her mind, she was always a woman/girl.   So she wasted no time, after getting a facial transformation, and started hosting 'girls night' with her girl friends so that they can all discuss about girl stuff (whatever those are , considering she is over 60 already).

How does she look now after that operation? She seemed to get the best features of Jessica Lange and Kate Winslet rolled in one, a neat package that is cover-girl worthy.  Kate Winslet's lower facial  features and Jessica Lange's sharp upper features make a great combination indeed.  But let's not be carried away by her physical changes, how about her total feeling about it?  According to Caitlyn in an interview with Buzz Bissinger, it seems that finally she got free from a life spent inside a cage and chains.

Being not able to express or show her real self as a 'woman' made life hell for her.  And now she feels totally free and living the life she has always wanted.  Now, she can wear the woman's clothes that she had often imagined and attempted to wear when going out.  She also confessed that she had "stolen" some of Kim's clothes in the past and tried them on.  Kim Kardashian is Caitlyn Jenner's, stepdaughter.  Now, she does not have to resort to that.  The days of sneaking is over as she has revealed her true self.

In one interview she had with Diane Sawyer, Caitlyn actually wore women's undergarments.  Unbeknownst to all, she was actually living a life of a lie for the longest time and I can only imagine the stress, agony, and torture that brought her.  Coming out of the closet, as cliche as it sounds, is the best decision she did for herself.  It would not be an easy transition, but hey, it's never too late to enjoy life and be happy, sans baggages.
