Happy New Year Folks....What's your New Year's Resolution(s)
After the last glass of wine had been drunk, after the last slice of cheese had been eaten, after that last container of leftover 'biko' had been consumed, it's time to face the new year. And as we always promise each year, we always want to resolve the problematic areas in our life at the start of the year. Call it what you like: resolution, goals, whatever, they all aim at fixing our broken promise the past years. So, what do you plan to resolve this 2019? Here's my short list of 2019 goals or resolutions:
1. Avoid procrastinating and corollary to that is: pay your credit cards ahead of time. Upon receiving the bill, if you have enough balance in your account to pay it, pay it immediately. Don't wait for the due date because if heaven forbid, there is a brown out and you pay online, imagine if the brown out would take days? You will incur that dreaded delayed payment charge of P850. You will make Citibank, HSBC, and other sharks and leeches disguising as banks out there H-A-P-P-Y.
2. Buy only the things you need. And corollary to that is: SAVE, SAVE, SAVE. If you don't need it, don't buy it. How many designer bags do you really need? And what is the motivation behind buying designer bags? I'd be happy to own one, but what will I do with 5 designer bags? It's crazy that other people have one whole room of designer bags, and they don't even get to use them always. Oh, well, if you are the daughter of Henry Sy, Manny Villar or John Gokongwei, I will forgive you, especially if you let me have one from your collection, LOL.
3. Get rid of those unwanted kilos. It's easier said than done, but it has to be done this year, by all possible means. Towards the end of the year in 2018, I realized that more than half of my clothes no longer fit me, and what does that mean? I will be spending money to buy clothes when I could save it if I did not go to buffets and eat-all-you-can dinners and lunches twice a month when all it did was make my waistline wider and wider. So, it's time I develop an exercise routine to slowly remove my double chin, my third layer in my tummy, remove those ugly cellulite that's all over my legs.
4. And fourth on my list, is be more active in my blogging again. I promise to make one entry per week, if you promise to read it. So as groundbreaking for this year, 2019, hope you enjoyed reading this short entry. Hope to see more of you here in 2019. LUV you, guys.
