How to Get Shiny Hair using Coconut Milk

One of the things that women agonize about is their hair.  They take pains in keeping it shiny, soft, clean and smelling good.  They would go to any lengths just to find that perfect shampoo and conditioner that will match the nature of their hair.  They even go to a hairstylist regularly, paying lots of money just to keep that mane in perfect condition.  Many women envy other women who have gorgeous locks that attract the opposite sex.  Let's admit it, some men really do get attracted to ladies with nice, well-maintained hair.  Somehow it adds to the total appeal. And we all know of course how shiny, healthy, no-misplaced-strand hair enhances the appearance of ladies.  This obsession with great-looking, head-turning hair has made shampoo production a major industry as far as beauty products is concerned.

I have heard various stories regarding the magical effects of coconut milk to a woman's hair.   According to regular users they noticed some changes in their hair when they used coconut milk before shampoo-ing it.  They noticed that their hair strands became thicker and this added volume to their hair.   They said that by simply rubbing and massaging coconut milk to their scalp in 7 days, their hair grew thicker and shinier.  The process is really simple.  Break open a mature coconut.  You will see the white coconut meat.  This should be shredded so that getting the milk will be faster and easier.

Shredding coconut can be done in many ways.  In Asian marketplaces, there are mechanical coconut shredders in the stalls of coconut sellers. You can ask the seller to shred the coconut himself.  If you can't find one, then you will have to use  the regular shredder and shred the coconut like you would shred cheese.  It is time-consuming though, so I suggest, let an automatic shredder to do the trick. It is less messy and quicker than shredding coconut in a cheese shredder   The next step is to pour a glass of water on the shredded coconut, mix the water and the shredded coconut evenly, after about 5 minutes, scoop some of the mixture and squeeze the milk in another container until you are able to gather a substantial amount that you can use for the next 7 days.

Apply the coconut milk about 20 minutes before you take a bath or shampoo your hair.  Gently massage your scalp and comb your hair so that the milk is evenly distributed.  You can shampoo your hair after you feel that all corners and areas have been massaged and applied to.  If you want to add a gorgeous smell to it, you can pour some aromatic oils such as lavender, etc.  You will notice the change in your hair after doing this for the next 7 days.   Using coconut milk will not only enhance the volume of your hair but also make it healthier, shinier and more attractive.  Using coconut for our hair is just one of the many things we benefit from coconut, the tree which others consider the tree of life.

Head lice commonly infest the hair of children all over the world. In many other countries these creatures are referred to as 'nits'. The scientific name of this parasitic insect is called a Pediculus Humanus Capitis, or more commonly known as the head louse.
