What happens when you got a rocking athletic body, stunning looks and volleyball prowess?  You are the envy of women and you get to be on the cover of one of the most popular men's magazine.  That's right, volleyball fans, FEU's "Queen Tamaraw" needs no further introduction because she is synonymous to  volleyball in the Philippines.  She is our "Leila Barros,"  Brazil's most popular female volleyball player. Rachel Ann Daquis accepted FHM's invitation to grace their cover and so come October 2014, you can buy FHM from your favorite  magazine stands and get a glimpse of Rachel Ann Daquis's life outside of the court.  If you have been following the volleyball games in the UAAP and the two professional leagues, Shakey's V-league and the Philippine Superliga, you are probably familiar with Rachel Ann and her kind of game.

5 Things To Do Upon Waking Up in the Morning

People have different rituals when they wake up in the morning.  Some would do some stretching on the bed, others would immediately wash their face and gargle.  Others would say their prayers, while others  would instantly prepare their favorite coffee to warm them up.   Each one of us have different practices mornings and it all depends on our values and things that we have been used to doing.    I do have my own morning traditions.  I have done these as far as I could recall.  Here are the most common ones and why do I do them. 1)   Say my short prayer -  It's a personal prayer that I created and  it asks for guidance, expresses gratitude for the blessings and I say prayers for other people also.  Occasionally, I mention people that really need prayers: sick friends, parents, family members, etc.   The power of prayer should not be underestimated for faith can do a lot to the believer.  A tiny seed of faith ...

The Philippine Islands is known for the many feasts and fiestas they celebrate every year.  Many believe that fiestas or feasts are pagan practices of venerating and worshiping nature and their traditional gods and goddesses which got interspersed with the Roman Catholic religion's religious rites and rituals.  Because of the combination of both beliefs, what we can see now are the big feasts that are celebrated in honor of religious figures like the Senor Sto. Nino.    The feast of the Sto.  Nino are celebrated in the islands in the Visayas like Cebu and Panay.  The celebration in honor of the Sto.
