Movies at Cinemalaya 2014

It's Cinemalaya season again, and it means we can enjoy seeing productions from independent filmmakers. Cinemalaya is a break from the movies with usual popular themes because in Cinemalaya, directors are after of the recognition of their directorial talents and skills.  That means there is no pressure to rake in profits for commercial producers.  So this is the time to really see great and aritistically created productions.  The good thing about Cinemalaya productions is that nowadays, mainstream actors and actresses are also interested in showcasing their talents for directors who want to join the Cinemalaya because it seems that they are taken more seriously if they become a part of a Cinemalaya production.  But that is just my interpretation. The Philippine Islands is known for the many feasts and fiestas they celebrate every year.  Many believe that fiestas or feasts are pagan practices of venerating and worshiping nature and their traditional gods and goddesses which got interspersed with the Roman Catholic religion's religious rites and rituals.  Because of the combination of both beliefs, what we can see now are the big feasts that are celebrated in honor of religious figures like the Senor Sto. Nino.    The feast of the Sto.  Nino are celebrated in the islands in the Visayas like Cebu and Panay.  The celebration in honor of the Sto. Driving 101: Reverse, Gears, Turns, Neutral, First Gear, Second Gear

The trick in driving firstly, is to be calm and relaxed at all times. This is what I learned after the first two hours with my instructor. Don't let nerves get through you.  Breathe in and relax when you get behind the wheel.  Also, it pays for you to master footwork. Even when you are not driving always practice your left foot by imagining it pressing  clutch, and your right foot pressing break, and gas. You can also make an improvised gear stick so that you can coordinate your footwork with your arm movements.  This will help you gain confidence when you get behind the wheel.  I practiced my footwork first for an hour. Imagining me behind the wheel and driving.  Later, I imagined moving the gear stick according to my footwork.  It did help a lot in terms of making me feel more relaxed and feel more confident.  I also watched some youtube videos that made me feel  more relaxed and gave me more confidence.
